Ski Bus Registration
Hello Middle School families,
It is time to register for the Middle School Ski Bus! Students in grades 6-8 are invited to join us for five Friday
evenings, January 7 – February 4th. We leave directly after school for over an hour of instruction through
Webbski Ski and Snowboard School,
then 1½ hours of free skiing/boarding, returning to Villa around 10:15pm. All skill levels are welcome; no experience is necessary. Students
are chaperoned by Villa faculty and staff. Families who expressed interest in Ski Bus on our Intent Form will have registration coming
home today with your students. If you are still interested and did not do the form, please have students pick up from Ms. Higgins on the 4th
floor.
This year in order to provide the safest opportunity for students we will be requiring proof of COVID-19 Vaccine in order to participate in Ski Bus. Webbski is also asking for families renting equipment to come to Webski prior to the 7th to get fitted for equipment. This is not required, but helps mitigate rentals.
The cost for the program includes a $70 non-refundable deposit charged to your tuition account and a $311 check made out to Webbski for all five weeks of lessons, transportation, and supervision. More information about rentals, and class placement will be sent by Webbski in December. We recommend either purchasing a season pass or sending students with a check (made out to Villa Academy) for the exact amount for their lift pass each week. Season pass and lift ticket information can be found at www.summit-at-snoqualmie.com. Other Notes:
- Season ticket prices go up November 17th
-
If you try to purchase and it says “Sold Out” email Judy Web at judy_webb@hotmail.com
- Beginner group (never skied/snowboarded) don’t need a pass for first lesson
-
You cannot buy weekly lift tickets at Snoqualmie. It must be a season pass or a check given to Villa
to buy weekly tickets.
Want more information about the program? View the Ski Bus Overview presentation.
TO REGISTER: Take registration pack passed out to you OR pick up a registration packet from Ms. Higgins in Room #415 and return all completed registration materials together by Tuesday, November 23rd. In the event that we have to limit the number of participants, we will reserve spaces based on the order complete registration materials were received. Fortunately, we are usually able to accommodate everyone who turns in complete registration materials on time. Late registration may be possible, but will incur an additional $25 late fee. Note: Scholarships are available; contact Katharine Brennecke in the Admission Office.
