Extended Day Program

Before and After School Care

Whether it's quiet reading, crafts, homework, or games, learning and fun happen both before and after school in our warm and inviting Extended Day space. Villa's team of counselors love working with children and focus on their social-emotional development as they facilitate various activities, group dynamics, and individual needs. Our goal is to ensure the care and attention students receive is consistent throughout their whole day.

Enrichment Classes

We also provide a wealth of enrichment opportunities for all children from preschool through 8th grade beginning right after school. With 30 classes to choose from, there's something for every interest: math, drama, art, music, science, karate, technology, cooking, survival skills, forest games, dance, chess—and more. Enrichment classes are divided into age/developmentally appropriate groups and are delivered by both in-house instructors and outside specialists. Costs vary, but a per class average is $26.

Extended Day Hours

Morning, K-8 7:00 - 8:10 a.m.
Afternoon, K-8: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. (Villa dismisses classes at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday)
Afternoon, Preschool Threes/Fours/Fives: 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. —or— 1:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Licensing

We are Washington State licensed facility and adhere to strict guidelines. For preschool, this includes specific child/adult ratios and a 10 hour limit for preschool students on site.
